Wanda Wulz was an Italian experimental photographer whom of which was born on the 25th of July 1903 in Trieste, Italy. Her most popular piece of work was her self portrait image merged with a cat (shown below):
I plan to copy this concept/idea, except using one of my pet dogs rather than a cat. This will vary my work up, using the same technique just with a slight twist.
Below are my takes on her work. I took two seperate portraits of my dog, and mum. I then used photoshop to merge them together. For the twist I decided to leave the tongue in colour. This gives the image a pop of vibrance which instantly brightens up the piece and helps to modernise it a bit.
